Fred is the Founder / CEO of ABC Company, an engineering firm that manages a lot of projects and works with multiple developers, both private and public. ABC has a great reputation in the communities in which they practice for doing quality work, offering innovative and insightful solutions to sticky problems, and for a genuine interest in community involvement by Fred and other company leaders.
Fred is a thoughtful and visionary leader. He’s actively involved in a peer group and regularly explores new improvement programs for himself and his company. In fact, the organization was feeling a little fragmented with “too many new things.”
In Fred’s eagerness to make ABC Company really thrive, he tried quite a few new improvement programs. Most of them helped a little, but at times it felt like shifting sands and a “program of the month” environment.
Since starting EOS, ABC’s leadership team is seeing great benefit from the focus of running on just one system – EOS. They have solved a couple really big Right Person Right Seat issues that were ongoing for a long time and creating a drag on the overall team.
- Communication at the leadership team level has greatly improved with Level 10 meetings.
- Setting quarterly “Rocks” has improved clarity, focus, and alignment.
- Everyone is crystal clear on the most important priorities and what actions he/she can take to help accomplish them.
- Several departments have begun to use Level 10 meetings and are loving it.
- Communication and prioritization in the Operations Department have also improved and the Operations Leader is very enthusiastic about EOS.
- The Quarterly Pulse is becoming the normal way of doing business.
They are on their journey to becoming strong in all of the 6 Key Components: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction.
Note: Names are changed, but “Fred” is a real person and “ABC Company” is a real company.
